Tragedy In Texas Our prayers go out to the people of West, Texas. A fertilizer plant exploded last night in the small town, about 80 miles south of Dallas. The explosion was so powerful that it registered as a magnitude 2.1 earthquake with the U.S. Geological Survey. |

Washington On Alert The nation's capital is on edge today with reports of ricin-laced letters sent to Senator Roger Wicker (R-MS) and President Obama. All mail delivery to the Capitol Building has been suspended. Just before noon, two Senate office buildings were partially evacuated and locked down due to suspicious packages. |

Marathon Nightmare Washington is on high alert today, as are other major U.S. cities after the cowardly terrorist bombing at the Boston Marathon. As I write, three people are confirmed dead, over 170 wounded, 17 of them in critical condition. Reports indicate 25 to 30 individuals have lost limbs. |

More Anti-Christian Bigotry In The Military Yesterday we reported on the outrageous briefing an Army Reserve unit in Pennsylvania received that labeled "Evangelical Christianity" and "Catholicism" as examples of "extremism." The Army said it was an "isolated incident." Sadly, it isn't. Today there is news that Army Lt. Col. Jack Rich of Fort Campbell, Kentucky, sent an email warning of behaviors inconsistent with "Army Values" and warning about various groups that "do not share our Army Values." |
