The Kids Are NOT Okay

Have you heard about the latest viral craze on TikTok? Young influencers on the social media platform are claiming that their lives have been radically changed. 

I wish I could say they have been radically changed because they found Jesus after stumbling on a Bible in their homes. But, sadly, that’s not it. They have actually gone further to the “dark side.” 

Instead of the Bible, they stumbled on Osama bin Laden’s letter justifying his 9/11 attack on America that killed 3,000 of our fellow citizens. And they believed bin Laden!

Some of these so-called “influencers” are saying things like “America has been terrorizing people since the beginning of history,” and “Put yourself in their shoes. 3,000 people died on 9/11, compared to the millions that Americans have killed in Palestine.”

These videos have been viewed at least 14 million times. 

We’ve known for years now that the rising generation of 18 to 30 year-olds has the lowest level of patriotism and pride in America of any generation in history. 

Unlike previous generations, they are not learning an accurate account of the accomplishments of America, the reasons why we are an exceptional nation and the sacrifices we have made for other people’s liberty time and time again.

The ignorance expressed in these videos and the lack of patriotism is a direct consequence of our corrupt government-run educational system. We are teaching our kids anti-American history and indoctrinating them with Marxist dogma disguised as “critical race theory” and “diversity, equity and inclusion.”

Not surprisingly, young Americans cheated of their heritage are falling for the siren song of socialism, Marxism and other lies.

These young people, who have already been taught that America was fatally flawed at our founding, built on slavery and genocide, are now embracing this bin Laden letter in which he declares jihad against Western colonialism and Israel because it sounds just like the garbage they’re learning in school!

Never in our worst nightmares did we think our children’s alienation from the country of their birth was so warped that faced with the choice between the United States and Osama bin Laden, they would choose bin Laden. 

Just 12 years ago, after news broke that Osama bin Laden had been found and sent on his way to his “reward” in hell, there was a bipartisan celebration across America. What a difference 12 years makes.

Congratulations, Randi Weingarten! You and your Marxist comrades did this!

Dump TikTok Now

According to the Pew Research Center, one-third of young Americans get their news from TikTok. It would even be better if they got their news from the “lamestream media.” 

TikTok is not a private company. It is not an American company. It is controlled by the Chinese communist regime, and it is being weaponized against us. Sadly, our political establishment has not yet figured out how to deal with this obvious national security threat.

So, it’s up to you, Mom and Dad. Take your child’s phone and delete TikTok now! It is “digital fentanyl.” It is poisoning your child’s mind.

To show you how ignorant these “educated” Americans are, they are completely clueless about bin Laden’s brand of Islam. It is the sect most committed to treating women like chattel, to executing homosexuals, to putting every woman behind a full burka, to genitally mutilating them and marrying them off as one of multiple wives to a Muslim man.

Here’s even more irony. 

Much of the Islamic world and the Third World does think of America as “the Great Satan.” But not because we stand for freedom and believe our liberty comes from God. 

They think we are “the Great Satan” because we are pushing homosexuality, abortion on demand and transgenderism around the world. It’s a huge part of Joe Biden’s foreign policy. 

The very things these young people are demanding and embracing here in the United States are very unpopular in most of the poor, developing world. 

Young progressives go crazy when they find out that the new Speaker of the House believes in the Bible and the sanctity of life. But five minutes later, they’re singing the praises of Osama bin Laden.

Get Serious

We’re all concerned about the enemies of America crossing our southern border, as we should be. Acolytes of Osama bin Laden are crossing the southern border. 

But, as I noted above, we must acknowledge that enemies of our country are being recruited and raised in our own classrooms! There is an anti-American cult growing up in our midst right now in virtually every high school and on virtually every college campus across the country.

Part of the problem is that after 9/11, the Bush Administration followed the advice of foreign policy elites. President Bush was told that we could not be seen as speaking out against Islam. 

So, we declared war not on our enemies, but on terrorism. It would be similar to declaring war after Pearl Harbor not against Japan, but against surprise attacks. It makes no sense!

And because we did not emphasize the elements of Islam that are incompatible with a free society, constitutional government, women’s rights and the dignity of man, we deluded ourselves about the real nature of the war. 

Keep in mind that we just saw Osama bin Laden’s ideological comrades in action when Hamas invaded Israel and slaughtered 1,400 men, women and children. 

We are no longer fighting in the mountains of Afghanistan, but the ideology of radical Islamic supremacy has not been defeated. 

About That Ideology. . .

A new survey of Palestinians in the “West Bank” was just released. It found that 68% of Palestinians strongly support the October 7th massacre and 76% expressed support for Hamas. This poll should put an end to the absurd idea of “two states living side-by-side in peace.”

Sadly, this is the same mindset throughout Gaza and much of the Islamic world from Iran to Indonesia. 

But some congressional progressives are pushing the Biden White House to grant special refugee status to places like Gaza and the West Bank. That would mean hundreds of thousands of more anti-Semites and anti-Christian bigots coming to America. 

Senators Mike Lee (R-UT), Marco Rubio (R-FL), Rick Scott (R-FL) and J.D. Vance (R-OH) sent a letter to President Biden strongly urging him not to go along with this and to “not import a population of potentially radicalized individuals into the United States.”

Kudos to these senators and to House conservatives for putting America first!
