Trump Is Serious
We just got another example of how serious President Donald Trump is about getting the government under control. He ordered a freeze on an estimated $3 trillion in federal spending effective at 5:00 PM today. The Washington establishment is apoplectic.
Get used to hearing the words “unprecedented,” “chaos,” “panic,” and “fascism.” You’re going to hear them every time Trump does anything.
The spending freeze reportedly applies to “all federal grants and loans to local governments, hospitals, schools, and businesses.” The White House will not release the funds until “Marxist equity, transgenderism, and green new deal social engineering” have been removed from the impacted programs.
There are exceptions to the spending freeze: Individuals receiving direct assistance from the government will not be affected. Social Security benefits, Medicare spending, and food benefits for low-income families will not be affected.
The president’s action is aimed at the bureaucracy at all levels that is saturated with leftist ideology. It’s aimed at all the absurd leftist nonsense that infuriates us.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt offered several examples of wasteful spending the administration is looking to prevent, including $37 million for the World Health Organization and $50 million for condoms in Gaza.
Here’s another example of President Trump’s seriousness: He suspended more than 50 bureaucrats at the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) for resisting his policies and agenda.

Putting Parents First
One of the biggest signs that the left had gone too far was the parental rights revolt in 2023. Mothers and fathers of all races did not want their little children taught distorted and immoral theories on human sexuality. They made their voices heard at school board meetings, local libraries, and at the ballot box.
What did the Biden/Harris administration do?
First, it labeled these parents as “book banners” and set up an 800 line to report them as potential domestic terrorists. The cherry on top of this rancid sundae was a new office at the Department of Education, working in cooperation with the Department of Justice.
In addition, if parents or school boards successfully stopped LGBTQ grooming propaganda in elementary schools or local libraries, local gay activists or far-left teachers could report them to Biden’s book ban coordinator.
Parents could be accused of “violations of the freedom of speech,” triggering civil rights investigations.
The Biden administration was clamping down on school districts that had the audacity to say, “This is an inappropriate book for seven year-olds.” The Trump administration erased this ridiculous program.
I wish I had bought stock in an eraser company. So much evil, decadence, and idiocy are being erased by the Trump/Vance administration as it restores common sense to our government. (See next item.)
Excellence & Readiness
President Donald Trump issued executive orders yesterday to ensure the effectiveness and readiness of our military by getting woke ideologies out of our military.
One order banned all race-based DEI programs and offices. It ordered a review of the curriculum at the United States Service Academies and Defense Department schools to ensure that no “divisive concepts” and “irrational theories” are being taught.
Trump’s order also went a step further by requiring military academic institutions to “teach that America and its founding documents remain the most powerful force for good in human history.”
Another executive order reinstated common sense by declaring that the demands of military readiness are “inconsistent with the medical, surgical, and mental health constraints on individuals with gender dysphoria.”
The order also states, “A man’s assertion that he is a woman, and his requirement that others honor this falsehood, is not consistent with the humility and selflessness required of a service member.”
Of course, leftists everywhere are going crazy. They insist the military needs everyone we can get. But these are the same people who cheered when Biden kicked out 8,000 troops because they had religious objections to the COVID vaccine.
Trump also righted that wrong with another executive order allowing those troops to be reinstated to their former rank with full back pay, benefits, and other compensation.
That shows you the incredible contrast in priorities between the left and the right.
Biden kicked out troops with religious principles and welcomed in transgender individuals. Trump is removing mentally unstable individuals and welcoming back our warriors with religious principles.
On a related note, a new study from Great Britain found that there was “a 50-fold increase” in gender dysphoria diagnoses among children over a ten-year period from 2011 to 2021. That’s not normal or natural.
It is instead clear evidence that trans indoctrination, social contagion, and corrupted “health care” providers are complicit in spreading this delusion to vulnerable children.
Hegseth At The Helm
Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth briefly spoke with reporters yesterday as he arrived at the Pentagon. He put the bureaucrats on notice, saying:
“Every moment that I’m here, I’m thinking about the guys and gals in Guam, in Germany, in Fort Benning and Fort Bragg, on missile defense sites and aircraft carriers. Our job is lethality and readiness and warfighting.
“We’re going to hold people accountable. . . The lawful orders of the president of the United States will be executed inside this Defense Department swiftly and without excuse.”
“Malicious Compliance”
The leftist media are trying to convince us, now that Donald Trump is back in the White House, that Bull Connor is running the Pentagon, Adolf Hitler is running the Justice Department, and Mussolini is in charge at the Education Department.
As “proof,” they noted that lessons on the Tuskegee Airmen and the Women’s Airforce Service Pilots had been removed from the Air Force’s Basic Military Training curriculum. Why? They claim it was to comply with the president’s order to eliminate DEI programs.
This is an example of the bureaucracy’s passive-aggressive resistance to the restoration of order at the Pentagon. Senator Katie Britt (R-AL) blasted the move as “malicious compliance.”
Dumb leftists or cronies in the DEI movement said, “Okay, we’ll give them want they want,” and they removed mentions of these distinguished men and women from the training material.
The point is that the Tuskegee Airmen and the Women’s Airforce Service Pilots were not DEI hires. They are admired because of their excellence and courage.
This was guerrilla warfare by government bureaucrats. The move served its purpose. Leftist journalists reported it with no research or questions. It probably went out to a network of left-wing groups and black churches to smear Trump and his policies.
The neo-Marxist left plays hardball nonstop, and it lies nonstop.
Praising Murderers
Yesterday was the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz by Soviet soldiers. When American troops liberated the Ohrdruf concentration camp, General Eisenhower ordered war correspondents and local Germans to walk through the camp so people would know and wouldn’t forget what happened there.
Of course, the full horror of the Holocaust resulted in the iconic slogan “Never Forget. Never Again.” Sadly, “never forget” is being forgotten.
Countless leftists in the media and elsewhere don’t remember what happened on October 7, 2023, let alone what happened at places like Auschwitz. Then there is the phenomenon we see all over the world of people who do remember what happened at Auschwitz, and they want it to happen again.
Some of these people are professors at our elite universities. Others are so-called “moderates” like Mahmoud Abbas, the leader of the Palestinian Authority.
This week, while Israeli families were welcoming home their daughters and sisters who were kidnapped in Israel on October 7, 2023, and dragged into Gaza, Mahmoud Abbas was calling a terrorist, Yasser Abu Bakr, who was released from an Israeli prison as part of the ceasefire deal.
Abu Bakr had been serving a 115-year sentence for killing multiple Israelis, including a nine month-old baby. The “moderate” Abbas called Abu Bakr at his home to praise his courage and bravery.
Never forget, indeed.

Google Maps will change the name of the big body of water south of our country to the Gulf of America. At least if you use Google Maps in America.
If you use Google Maps in Mexico, it will still be called the Gulf of Mexico. In other nations of the world, Google Maps will include both names. Welcome to our new world!
