Biden’s Gestapo

For the past year, Joe Biden has been condemning conservative Americans as “semi-fascists” and “a threat to the very soul of America.” 

That rhetoric explains why his administration targeted concerned parents at school board meetings, why it is hunting down pro-life activists and why it spied on conservative churches.

Well, it now seems that the FBI has a new target – Trump supporters. According to an extensive investigative report by Newsweek (not exactly a right-wing outlet): 

“The federal government believes that the threat of violence and major civil disturbances around the 2024 U.S. presidential election is so great that it has quietly created a new category of extremists that it seeks to track and counter: Donald Trump’s army of MAGA followers.”

That’s an extraordinarily broad category of people – perhaps as many as 75 million people! 

Newsweek states that in a “gigantic departure” from past practices, the FBI recently watered down its definition of extremism so that “groups could be labeled because of their politics.” 

In addition, the primary threats identified by the FBI for investigation are “all clearly associated with America’s right.” As a result, “nearly two-thirds of the FBI’s current [anti-government, anti-authority extremism] investigations are focused on Trump supporters.”

Initially, this story wasn’t getting the coverage it deserves in conservative media outlets. Maybe it was downplayed because some thought it was a Deep State effort to intimidate us. In other words, it’s another manifestation of election interference. 

Let me be clear: If such an FBI operation exists, it is outrageous and unacceptable! Director Wray and others need to be dragged before Congress, forced to explain this and people need to be fired. This is just one more reason why the FBI should not get one dime for a new headquarters!

The American people are overwhelmingly concerned that the neo-Marxist left is transforming our country into a totalitarian police state. (Those concerns are more than justified. See next item.) Are all those people “anti-government extremists”?

Now ask yourself this question: What would happen if a conservative media outlet had reported in 2020 that the Trump Administration created a special FBI unit to monitor Biden supporters? I guarantee you that every progressive would be running around with their hair on fire! 

Well, think back to the riots of the summer of 2020. The streets were filled with anti-government, anti-authority extremists. They attacked federal courthouses and the White House.  They were all radical leftists! Did the FBI create any special units then?

Here’s another thought:  Why does Riley Gaines need 50 police officers to protect her on a university campus for simply saying there are only two genders, male and female? Not because of conservatives.

On any given weekend in America, you can find stories of violence with scores of people wounded and murdered. This happens all the time in progressive-dominated cities, like Chicago. Conservatives aren’t causing that violence.

Why are police protecting national monuments? Because leftist mobs, not conservatives, are tearing them down.

The idea that “right-wing violence” is bedeviling America is so far from reality it is laughable!

Regardless of whether the Newsweek report is accurate or just “psych warfare,” we must do what we’re supposed to do: Don’t be intimidated! Fear not! And take courage!

Biden vs. Free Speech

In a surprising move, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals revisited its recent decision that certain government agencies colluded with Big Tech to censor free speech on social media platforms. As a result, the court expanded its order to include the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA).

While the agency does what you might expect – securing critical infrastructure (the power grid and communications systems) from cyberattacks – it has a problem with “mission creep,” just like most government bureaucracies.

For some reason, the CISA became one of the main government agencies leading the effort to pressure social media companies into censoring online content, of course, in the name of fighting “disinformation.” It has been described as the “nerve center” of the Deep State’s “vast censorship enterprise.”

So, this agency, created to protect us from cyberattacks by foreign adversaries, was turned against the American people and used to prevent us from seeing information it deemed as “unwanted.” 

For everyone hyperventilating over the “McCarthy Mutiny,” they should be far more upset by this assault on our Constitution! There were reports that some Republicans were so mad at Matt Gaetz, there were almost fist fights on the House floor. 

I want to see that kind of anger aimed at Biden’s out-of-control government for attacking our rights!

(And now I’m probably on some kind of FBI “anti-government” watch list!)

Putting Ukraine First

Amid reports that the Biden Administration is scrambling to reassure our European allies of continued funding for Ukraine while Congress is temporarily out of commission, comes a stark warning from one of those allies.

Senior British defense officials are warning that weapons stockpiles are virtually exhausted. “We’ve given away just about as much as we can afford,” one source said, adding that air defense assets and artillery shells have all “run dry.” 

A top NATO admiral, referring to low weapons supplies, said, “The bottom of the barrel is now visible.”

Biden reportedly plans to deliver a major address on Ukraine, while promising he has “another means” to “find funding” for Ukraine. 

I suspect Biden doesn’t realize it, but after 20 months of war and at least $100 billion, the American people have had enough of this, and they don’t trust him to lead us in a major conflict with Russia.

Meanwhile, as House Republicans consider who should become the new speaker, I was pleased to hear what Rep. Jim Jordan had to say when asked about sending more of your hard-earned dollars to Ukraine. Jordan answered:

“Why should we be sending American tax dollars to Ukraine when we don’t even know what the goal is? . . . What is the objective? Until you can tell me the goal, I don’t think we should continue to send money there, particularly when we have problems on our border.”

DEI Or DIE?

The radical left has infiltrated and hijacked so many of America’s once-great institutions. The military, as we regularly detail, is no exception. And, as we have seen from Biden’s disastrous retreat from Afghanistan, woke won’t win wars. 

Here’s the latest example: The United States Military Academy at West Point is now offering a Diversity and Inclusion Studies Minor.

Now, most decent Americans won’t see a problem with “diversity, equity and inclusion” (DEI) at first glance. But it is not what it sounds like.

DEI is rooted in the same Marxist mindset as critical race theory. These West Point DEI classes are written by the same people who can’t tell you want a woman is and who believe America is evil. 

It’s bad enough that when our sons and daughters go off to college, they run the risk of coming out as Antifa activists after four years of reeducation and indoctrination. 

But now this insanity has infected our military academies, where future officers are trained to lead soldiers into combat. This is a threat to our national security.

“Duty, Honor, Country” must never take a back seat to “Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.”

Sadly, the teaching of DEI in our military academies will only cause more soldiers to DIE on the battlefield in future conflicts.
