The Silent Insurrection
What the Democrats and the media called an insurrection on January 6, 2021, was basically a riot in a larger demonstration that was mostly peaceful. But there is an insurrection going on right now.
In many ways, it is the worst kind because it is happening behind closed doors, out of sight from the public. It doesn’t last just four hours; it’s going on 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
That is the insurrection of leftists embedded in the federal bureaucracy who are working nonstop to block anything the Trump/Vance administration tries to do.
The Washington Post just wrote a glowing article praising the insurrectionists inside government agencies all over Washington and all the things they are doing to stop the duly elected president from doing what the American people elected him to do.
This is the ultimate undermining of our constitutional Republic / democracy.
We are literally talking about life-threatening resistance. ICE agents recently conducted immigration enforcement actions in Aurora, Colorado, and Los Angeles, California. But both operations were compromised by someone leaking the details in advance.
Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem believes someone at the FBI leaked details about the Los Angeles operation. That’s a very serious allegation. Anyone at the FBI would know that such irresponsible actions put the lives of law enforcement officers at risk of being killed.
By the way, when federal agents went into the apartment building in Aurora, where members of the vicious Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua cleared out because they were warned ahead of time, they found mostly empty rooms with blood smeared on the walls.
These are the thugs left-wing members of Congress, mayors, governors, and the media are trying to protect.
Unelected bureaucrats do not have a right to be a shadow force that runs our government and our country. White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller said over the weekend, “Donald Trump is engaging in the most important restoration of democracy in over a century.”
He’s right. Trump, Vance, and Elon Musk are breaking the bureaucracy’s grip on our government and making it work for us, rather than the bureaucrats believing we work for them.
The Left Declares War
After the November elections, many political analysts suggested that the Democrat Party would do some serious soul searching to understand why they lost everything and perhaps even move to the middle. How’s that going?
As far as I can tell, Senator John Fetterman is the only Democrat who seems at all interested in talking to President Trump and understanding his voters. By and large, the left haven’t learned a thing.
How else can you explain dozens of liberal congressmen standing outside government buildings using the rhetoric of war? In every one of these demonstrations, they are calling for leftists to “fight in the streets.”
Another mark of these demonstrations is left-wing politicians attempting to get inside of these government buildings without appointments. What is their purpose? It’s almost worth letting them in just to see what they might do.
Meanwhile, there are repeated calls by elected Democrats and their leftist allies to “take to the streets.” So, the next time demonstrators waving the flags of foreign countries are blocking your commute to work or your commute home, just remember that you can thank Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi, and the liberal media for the inconvenience.
Left-wing Lunacy
Has anybody noticed the illogic on display during the protests against Trump’s immigration policies? These open borders protesters are carrying Mexican flags while demanding that Donald Trump not send them back to Mexico.
Which is it? Do they love Mexico, or do they hate Mexico?
During one demonstration, a woman took down an American flag and started running the Mexican flag up the flagpole. When police went over to stop her, she screamed at the officers, saying:
“You’re not going to tell me what to do. This is Mexican land, mother [expletive] . . . Touch me, mother [expletive], and when your kids die. . . I’m Mexican. I’m Aztec, mother [expletive], and you’re going to pay. My dad is going to kill you and all your family. You think this is a joke. It’s not.”
If I were president, I’d find a place for her at Gitmo!
State-Sponsored Media
One of the most eyebrow-raising aspects of the bureaucracy known as USAID was that its budget for 2025 allocated $268 million to support independent media and the free flow of information in other countries. Now, just who do you think is deciding what “independent media” is?
Here’s a shocking fact: 90% of all media outlets in Ukraine receive funding from USAID. One Ukrainian media outlet gets 80% of its entire budget from USAID, your tax dollars.
In 2023, 6,200 journalists in more than 700 media outlets and 279 media nongovernmental organizations in 30 countries received your tax dollars. Yet, the same federal government cannot find the money to provide Americans in western North Carolina with decent shelters until their homes can be repaired.
And while USAID is funding these media outlets, they are promoting anti-Christian values, including LGBTQ ideology and abortion worldwide.
If this can’t be stopped, democracy really is going to lose -- right here in the United States!
By the way, FEMA, which we were told was broke, just found another $59 million. But it didn’t go to help people in North Carolina. It was used to house illegal aliens in luxury New York City hotels. Musk wrote that these payments “violated the law and is in gross insubordination to the President’s executive order.”
Thankfully, the acting administrator of FEMA suspended those payments and said, “Personnel will be held accountable.”
Trump Demands Details
Over the weekend, President Donald Trump ordered the Secret Service to provide him with “every bit of information” they have on the two assassination attempts made against him. The president said:
“I want to find out about the two assassins. . . Why did the one guy have six cell phones, and why did the other guy have [foreign] apps? No more holding back because of Biden. . . I’m entitled to know. And they held it back long enough.”
Think about that. Trump was elected president months ago, and he took the oath of office weeks ago. But he has to issue an order to get the Secret Service to give him the details on the assassination attempts not on John F. Kennedy or Martin Luther King, Jr., but on him!
That is outrageous! And just another example of the Deep State hiding dark secrets.
Speaking of Trump’s orders, the president also revoked the security clearances of several prominent Democrats, including former President Joe Biden, Antony Blinken, New York Attorney General Letitia James, Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg, and former Biden National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan.
That’s not “revenge.” They did it to him, and he’s just playing by their rules.
But given what we know about Biden’s mental decline, does anyone really think he can understand what’s in a national security briefing?
America Likes Trump 2.0
The latest CBS News poll really has leftists down in the dumps. The poll found that Donald Trump currently enjoys the highest approval rating of any time in his first term or this term.
If you watched the Super Bowl last night, you saw the evidence when the president appeared on the stadium screens during the national anthem. The football fans roared their approval. By the way, Taylor Swift was roundly booed. Maybe she should ask President Trump for some advice on boosting her popularity.
The poll also found that 70% of the public believes President Trump is doing what he promised to do. That doesn’t mean 70% support what he’s doing. But it means the vast majority of Americans acknowledge he is keeping his promises, something far too many politicians don’t do.
On immigration, 64% approved of Trump’s decision to deploy troops to the border, and 59% approved of his efforts to deport illegal aliens.
Savior Or Guide
Brent Hawkes, a “pastor” in Toronto, Canada, is making headlines for urging his church to stop using the word “Savior” to describe Jesus Christ. Evidently, he has found the word “uncomfortable” and “problematic” for years. He believes it’s a stumbling block that people of other religions find offensive. Instead, Hawkes says we should see Jesus as more of a “guide.”
I’m sure it won’t surprise you to learn that Hawkes and his church are all in on the LGBTQ agenda. I raise this point because any church that goes south theologically on LGBTQ issues and starts displaying rainbow flags because “everybody’s welcome” doesn’t stop there.
Once a pastor claims that he can’t find anything in the Bible about the definition of marriage or what a man is and a woman is, or any reason to resist the demands of the LGBTQ movement, then the Bible loses all authority. That pastor, priest, or rabbi will go south on everything, including the nature of Christ and fundamental beliefs of Christianity.
Hawkes is just the latest example.
