America Last, Putting Americans At Risk

America Last

The scenes of devastation from Hurricane Helene are heartbreaking. High winds and a record storm surge pounded the west coast of Florida, but the worst was yet to come. Helene brought death and destruction across six southern states, mostly from historic flooding.

North Carolina was Ground Zero in the deluge, but Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee, and even Virginia were also severely impacted. Because of mountainous terrain and the nature of the storm, rural communities in those states were hit the hardest.

According to one report, at least 116 people are dead and many more are missing. More than two million people are still without power, and cell phone service is out in many places.

Like millions of Americans, I prayed for these folks over the weekend. But I was angry again about how far down the list of priorities American citizens are to the Biden administration.

This storm has devastated the hard-working people of rural Appalachia. They lost their homes. They have no power. They have no access to drinkable water.

But if they crossed the U.S. border illegally, they would already be on taxpayer-funded flights, taking them to free housing in big city hotels. They would be getting free health care and free legal representation. Their children would get a free education, and powerful people would be coming to their defense.

But that’s not the case for the folks in Appalachia. They get less help than illegal aliens. Is it just a coincidence that most of them are conservatives? Maybe that’s why the president stayed on the beach this weekend and the vice president went to campaign fundraisers in San Francisco, where she said, “It’s great to be home.”

By the way, where is Pete Buttigieg? Several major highways are washed out. Bridges were destroyed. But the secretary of transportation has been AWOL. Well, he’s putting politics first – he’s helping Gov. Tim Walz with debate prep by playing the role of Sen. J.D. Vance.

This fits an established pattern. Remember the train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio? It wasn’t until Donald Trump and J.D. Vance shamed the White House that they started paying attention. But it still took Joe Biden more than a year to visit East Palestine.

And then there were the terrible Maui fires. It took Biden more than two weeks to visit the Americans who lost everything, but instead of comforting them, he insulted them.

Donald Trump is putting Americans first. He went to Georgia today to help distribute relief supplies. He went to the disaster area before the president or vice president.

Meanwhile, I’m sure the people impacted by Hurricane Helene will be glad to know that under Biden, FEMA’s main priority is “diversity, equity, and inclusion.”

Putting Americans At Risk

Late Friday, disturbing news broke regarding the number of criminal illegal aliens in the country. According to data from Immigration and Customs Enforcement, there are more than 425,000 criminal aliens “not in detention,” meaning on the streets of our communities. That includes:

  • 62,231 convicted of assault
  • 56,533 convicted of drug offenses
  • 15,811 convicted of sexual assault
  • 14,301 convicted of burglary
  • 13,099 convicted of homicide.

While these figures were widely reported on Fox News and conservative sites, they were largely ignored by “mainstream media.” But over the weekend, people on the left began to realize how badly this was hurting our so-called “Border Czar” after her visit to the southern border.

Suddenly, the bureaucracy jumped in and said the figures were being misunderstood. The data isn’t for the last three years, but the past four decades. Really?

The figures were released as a result of a congressional inquiry. So, they released decades worth of data? Why would they do that? Because they don’t want you to know how bad it’s been over the last four years.

This is a national scandal that has put millions of Americans, particularly American women and children, at risk!

We know the figures for the last four years must be horrendous because the overall number of people who illegally crossed our border over the past four years has been horrendous.

Here’s one simple measurement. During the four years of the Trump administration, 14 suspected terrorists were caught at the border. At least 367 suspected terrorists have been caught crossing the border under the Biden administration. That’s an increase of more than 2,500%.

The leftists know how badly this issue is hurting them, and they will lie nonstop about it.

Here’s something else to keep in mind. In the few interviews she has done, Harris has told us that as president she will fight for a “pathway to citizenship,” meaning amnesty, for millions of illegal aliens in the country, and she angrily denounces calls for mass deportations. The American people, however, are fed up and overwhelmingly support deporting people who should not be here.

Israel vs. Hezbollah

The day after the October 7th massacre, the Iranian terror proxy Hezbollah attacked Israel by firing rockets from Lebanon. Over the past year, Hezbollah has fired 8,000 rockets at Israeli civilians. Those attacks forced tens of thousands of Israelis from their homes in northern Israel.

So, now that Hamas has been largely crippled, Israel has turned its attention to the threat from Hezbollah. The Israeli actions began in earnest with the coordinated explosions of electronic devices used by Hezbollah terrorists. Israel then began systematically targeting key Hezbollah leaders.

On Friday, an Israeli airstrike took out Hezbollah’s leader, Hassan Nasrallah, and another senior Hezbollah commander.

Saturday, Israel killed the commander of Hezbollah’s security unit, who was also a member of its governing council.

Yesterday, Israel attacked the Houthi rebels in Yemen after the Houthis fired a ballistic missile at Ben Gurion airport as Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was returning to Israel.

Today, Israel killed the Hamas leader in Lebanon.

Not surprisingly, there are reports that Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Khamenei, is in hiding. And he should be hiding because Khamenei is also the supreme leader of Hezbollah.

In his address to the United Nations Friday, Prime Minister Netanyahu made it clear to the world that Israel would not back down, even as the Biden/Harris administration ratchets up the pressure on Israel for a ceasefire. Here are some excerpts of his remarks.

“Ladies and gentlemen, this war can come to an end now. All that has to happen is for Hamas to surrender, lay down its arms, and release all the hostages. But if they don’t, we will fight until we achieve victory. Total victory. There is no substitute for it.

“Israel must also defeat Hezbollah in Lebanon. Hezbollah is the quintessential terror organization in the world today. . . It has murdered more Americans and more Frenchmen than any group except Bin Laden. . . And it has attacked Israel viciously over the last 20 years. . .

“Hezbollah turned vibrant towns in the north of Israel into ghost towns. . . Just imagine if terrorists turned El Paso and San Diego into ghost towns. Then ask yourself: How long would the American government tolerate that? . . . I doubt they would tolerate it even for a single day. Yet Israel has been tolerating this intolerable situation for nearly a year. Well, I’ve come here today to say enough is enough. . .

“In this battle between good and evil, there must be no equivocation. When you stand with Israel, you stand for your own values and your own interests. Yes, we’re defending ourselves, but we’re also defending you against a common enemy that, through violence and terror, seeks to destroy our way of life. So, there should be no confusion about this. . .

“Israel will win this battle. We will win this battle because we don’t have a choice. After generations in which our people were slaughtered, remorselessly butchered, and no one raised a finger in our defense, we now have a state. We now have a brave army, an army of incomparable courage, and we are defending ourselves.”
