Harris Picks Walz
Vice President Kamala Harris has chosen Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as her running mate. Many reports indicated that it was down to Walz and Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro.
Everyone agrees that Pennsylvania is a must-win state for the Democrat ticket. So, why didn’t Harris pick the popular Shapiro? Charges that he mishandled a sexual harassment case involving a member of his cabinet didn’t help.
But the most likely factor was that Harris was worried about alienating the growing anti-Israel wing of the progressive movement. There was an orchestrated campaign by these extremists to block “Genocide Josh” from the Democrat ticket.
Waltzing With The Left
Some media are describing Gov. Walz as a “moderate.” That’s fake news. This headline got it right: “Harris Hands Progressives A Major Victory By Selecting Gov. Tim Walz As Her VP.” For example:
In 2023, Walz signed legislation making Minnesota one of just a handful of states with no limits on abortion.
Walz fully promotes the entire transgender agenda. He held a signing ceremony with young children who were “transitioning” when he proudly issued an executive order making Minnesota a “trans refuge state.”
He signed legislation requiring all schools to stock “period products” in school bathrooms, including boys’ bathrooms.
Walz changed the Minnesota state flag. Initially, the new design looked a lot like the Somalian flag. (There is a big Somalian immigration population in Minnesota.) The final version was tweaked after a public backlash.
Walz gave taxpayer-funded benefits to “undocumented persons.” (Here and here.)
Walz praised socialism as “neighborliness.”
Some of his biggest supporters include Senator Bernie Sanders and Rep. Ilhan Omar.
Walz waited three long days before calling out the National Guard during the 2020 riots. He eventually admitted that the response to the riots was “an abject failure.” These were the same riots during which Kamala Harris raised funds to bail out rioters from jail.
Changing Minnesota
Minnesota hasn’t voted for a Republican presidential candidate since 1972. It’s come close a few times – Ronald Reagan in 1984, George W. Bush in 2000, and Donald Trump in 2016. There are a lot of working-class people, just as there are in Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.
Donald Trump could have carried Minnesota, but for one thing. The Uniparty in Washington, D.C., decided, in the name of democracy, that it was a really good idea to bring tens of thousands of Somalians to Minneapolis. Why? Because diversity is our strength, or so we’re told.
There is now a section of Minneapolis that is known as “Little Mogadishu.” Minneapolis became the “terrorist recruitment capital of the United States.” Non-Muslim students are being attacked by Muslim students in the city’s schools.
The Muslim call to prayer can be heard across Minneapolis five times a day. And the city’s growing Muslim population is now a major voting bloc, sending Ilhan Omar to Congress.
Policy vs. Personality
I’m sure I wasn’t the only one who noticed over the past 36 hours that the stock market collapse wiped out $1 trillion in wealth. Or that a major war is looming in the Middle East. That U.S. soldiers were wounded in an unprovoked attack by Iranian-backed militias in Iraq. And that England appears on the verge of civil war.
Instead of a serious debate about the policy failures that led to this chaos, the media is obsessing over whether female cat owners are offended.
Border Security Is National Security
The insanity of open borders is on full display yet again. The House Judiciary Committee just released a shocking report. It found that over the past two years, the Biden administration has encountered more than 250 illegal aliens on the terrorist watch list from 36 different countries. At least 99 were released into the United States.
That is what should have dominated the news yesterday. But the media buried this disturbing report. They don’t want you to know about it, and they don’t want to talk about the open border policies that Biden imposed over the past three years.
Time after time, Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas sat in front of a congressional committee and said, “The border is secure. We vet everyone who enters the United States.” No, you don’t!
Running their names through a U.S. database isn’t enough. Most of these illegal aliens who enter the country and are apprehended are given a court date when a judge will decide if they are legitimate refugees. But the judges are not cleared to see sensitive security information. So, they have no idea if the person in front of them is a wanted terrorist or not.
The whole system is a charade. It’s a farce. But the globalists and neo-Marxists in America are doing exactly what they are doing in Europe: They are changing the population of the country to bury Western Civilization. They are flooding countries with a tidal wave of people who do not come from cultures with the same traditions of freedom, liberty, and genuine tolerance. It’s national suicide.
By the way, the Department of Homeland Security just announced that it is suspending Biden’s program that allows illegal aliens to fly directly into the United States. The program has a serious problem with fraud. Who would have guessed?
